Here you will find the venue for all of life's celebrations, from the big, grand wedding to birthday parties and corporate events, only 10 minutes from Mariehamn. Stensalen is the renovated, grand barn from the 19th century with its meter-thick walls and crystal chandeliers. Stensalen can be rented as a venue only or you can let us tailor the entire package.

An unique venue
Stensalen offers a castle-like setting with meter-thick stone walls from the late 19th century, nearly 4m high ceilings and sparkling crystal chandeliers. There is room for up to 130 seated guests, a welcoming entrance with cloakroom and toilets, a bar for pleasant mingling and a kitchen for the catering company. There is space for a dance floor both inside and outside if the weather permits. The west-facing patio offers unbeatable sunsets to the sound of the babbling fountain!

Rent Stensalen for a whole weekend! Our weekend package is perfect for weddings or larger events where you want a little extra time for table setting and decoration or why not have a traditional three-day wedding? You have access to the venue from Friday 12 noon to Sunday 3 pm.

Norrboda
History
Norrboda has its own unique history. The house originates from the town of Norrboda in Lumparland on Åland, where it stood for over 200 years before we moved the house in its entirety to Ulfsby in the early 2000s. The house then underwent a fundamental renovation where great focus was placed on maintaining the house's original character. In 2023-2024, a minor renovation was carried out to adapt the spaces to today's needs. The house has a warm atmosphere and the wood stove, the barred old windows and the pearls in the ceiling let us remember its history.
